14/14 FIFO roster calendar

14/14 here means 14 days on, 14 days off, so a cycle is 14 days on site followed by 14 days at home. That makes the cycle 28 days long, about 13.0 cycles a year, with 50% of days on site. In 2027 the work days come to 182 to 183, depending on where in the cycle you start; set your start date below for your own count.

On and off are equal, so exactly half of every full cycle is on site.

A year splits into about 26.1 weeks on site and 26.1 weeks at home, since the 14-day swing and the 14-day break are the same length. The cycle repeats about 13.0 times, so each swing begins 28 days after the one before. Travel days, if switched on, take about 27 days a year out of the work-day total.
