7/7 FIFO roster calendar

7/7 here means 7 days on, 7 days off, so a cycle is 7 days on site followed by 7 days at home. That makes the cycle 14 days long, about 26.1 cycles a year, with 50% of days on site. In 2027 the work days come to 182 to 183, depending on where in the cycle you start; set your start date below for your own count.

A 14-day cycle of one week on and one week off. Whether a swing starts on a Monday or a Thursday depends on the start date you enter.

Each swing is 7 days, so the 14-day cycle turns over about 26.1 times a year: about 26.1 weeks on site and 26.1 weeks at home. Short swings mean more changeovers, and with travel days switched on about 53 days a year are travel. The weekday a swing starts on stays fixed for the whole year.
